This article research at presenting a social exegesis of Surat al-Talaq (Q65), it defines the social since exegesis, the bases on which it is built, and itscategories, then the research applied that on Surat al-Talaq.

the research finds that this Surah calls for enhancement of self-observation and social security is faced by the possibility of couples splitting off.

thus, social exegesis of the surah in question will leave no room for rejecting the idea of divorce, or sowing suspicions about its legislation.
