Abstract EN

The need for teacher professional development is a constant need as it is impossible to continue with a specific set of knowledge and skills since its start.

Given the tremendous cognitive progress that characterizes the current era, it has become necessary for the teacher to maintain an up to date level of information, skills, and modern trends in teaching and learning, for educational institutions in the digital informatics age must change their educational philosophy and procedural policies in order to provide teachers with appropriate conditions to perform their expected roles as teachers, learners, researcher, participant and mentor.

Therefore, the researcher defined the current research problem in developing a proposed vision for digital professional development for secondary school teachers in Makkah in line with contemporary trends.

Recommandations of the study are: 1- To make in-service teacher training a primary goal to improve their sustainable digital professional practices.

2- To spread the culture of sustainable professional development among all female teachers at schools, educational supervision and society through holding seminars and distributing flyers to encourage female teachers to be creative and innovative in their sustainable digital professional practices
