Abstract EN

The present article deals with the translation of the linguistic aspects of the cultural identity from French into Arabic in order to explore the strategies of translation that are used while transferring these aspects, some of which are related to the local cultural identity, while others belong to the French cultural identity.

And this, through models taken from the novel Nulle part dans la maison de mon père by Assia Djebar and its Arabic translation Bawwabet el dhikrayet by the late professor Mohammed Yahiatène.
