The objective of the research is to identify the relationship between the degree of application of the functional rotation (pros and cons) in the presidency of the Iraqi University and the level of its performance.

Research Methodology: The descriptive descriptive approach.

Research tool, information gathering questionnaire, research community (25) employees, employees and managers.

The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: 1.

The degree of application of the functional rotation of the sample in question was slightly above average, indicating that there is a need for further strategic changes on the application of functional rotation in the organization being investigated.

2.

The organization's performance of the research sample was above average, according to the research scale.

This indicates the homogeneity of the answers of the investigated sample.

Research Recommendations: A number of recommendations were presented, the most important of which were: 1.

The career rotation in the Department should be planned in advance.

2.

To encourage employees to apply the method of rotation and reduce their resistance to change.
