The purpose of this research is to identify the image of the woman as it appears in the divan of enthusiasm for the poet Abi Tammam.

The woman has been given a special attention in old and modern Arabic poetry and it drew a clear picture for her.

The one who meditates in this divan will find that Arabic woman has a prominent presence in Abi Tammam's poetic selections.

The most prominent are: the image of the beloved woman, the pretty woman, the querulous woman, the complaining woman, and the wife.
