Abstract EN

The study aimed to study the effect of using the Filliped Classroom strategy in the achievement of social studies and the development of historical thinking skills among the pupils of the second prep school .

It was used both descriptive approach in order to benefit from the literature of educational research in the field of Filliped Classroom and historical thinking in the formulation of the theoretical framework and the preparation of research tools , as well as experimental approach based on the division of the research sample consisting of 140 students into two groups ( experimental 70 students and control70 students).

The researcher prepared achievement test and another for historical thinking skills in social studies.

The results showed a statistically significant difference between the members of the control and experimental groups in the achievement of social studies and historical thinking skills for the experimental group
