Abstract EN

The study aims to uncover the perceptions and procedures used by teachers in constructing didactic situations and instill values at a primary school level, by using descriptive method.

the study sample consisted of (40) male and female teachers from primary schools from the wilaya of Relizane, and to collect data observation and interviews were used in it, after analyzing the data the results were as follows: • Teachers possess the knowledge and perceptions related to competency approach • Teachers often don't create and select suitable didactic situations or don't include it's properties • Using the value component in the educational sector is limited to certain activities (reading, Islamic and civic studies), while not used in the rest of the activities.

The study recommends: Intensifying the field training for teachers in higher schools, and the applications in preparatory training.
