The study aims to reveal the reality of the textbook syllabus for Arabic language in Algerian primary education by identifying its compliance with international standards in the preparation of textbooks, and its response to the bets of educational reform and the times requirements by achieving the desired functions or not.

In view of the radical transformations in form and content, the order of its composition takes great care from the stage of planning to the output as the most prominent means of learning, reflecting the reality of the educational sciences in all countries of the world.
