Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to diagnose aspects of the quality of teaching performance among faculty members in the Department of Life Sciences / College of Education for Pure Sciences.

To achieve the goal, a questionnaire was prepared that includes four areas (personal characteristics, teaching methods, knowledge sources, advanced technology, and evaluation).

Each field has a number of paragraphs, and after honesty and reliability procedures, A number of fourth-grade students in the Department of Life Sciences (60) were selected to represent the research sample.

And asked them to answer the paragraphs of the questionnaire completely freely without mentioning the names.

The frequencies were collected for each paragraph and for each of the four alternatives, and the arithmetic mean and percentage for each paragraph were deduced.

The statistical results showed the arithmetic mean of all paragraphs of the questionnaire (2.88) and a percentage (73.32%).

In the sense of the quality of performance of the teachers was at a low level, the researcher made a number of suggestions and recommendations.
