Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to identify the extent of relationship and impact between the banking qualification program and the development of practical skills among students of the Faculty of Commerce in Palestinian universities.

The study represents the pool of the faculty of commerce students who benefit from the banking qualification program organized by the (The Islamic University, Al-Azhar University, Palestine University, Gaza University, Al-Aqsa University, Al-Quds Open University).

The beneficiaries were 150.

The researcher used the comprehensive inventory-survey-method for all students of the study community, where 150 questionnaires were distributed to the study of which 138 questionnaires were Retrieved with a rate of 92%.

The results of the study revealed that there is a relationship between the banking qualification program and the development of practical skills among students of the Faculty of Commerce in Palestinian universities, and there are differences about the impact of the banking qualification program attributed to the (specialization and the university) on the other hand, there were no differences attributed to the (social kind).

The study recommends the application of the idea of the banking qualification program as a teaching course in colleges of commerce in the universities to qualify them for the labor market, developing curricula in the field of banking and financial sciences in the Palestinian universities and following them effectively.

In addition, prepare of curricula by a group of specialists and increase the activation of fellowship program to qualify the university teachers in colleges of commerce to increase their professional banking and finance experiences.
