Intertextuality as a text related to other texts has a very close relationship with translation, because it seems that there is no text without intertexts as Julia Kristeva said, so, how can we translate quotations, allusions? and how can we find their equivalences in the target language without losing their meanings, because the quoted text is not known at the second reader? We can also make a comparison between intertextuality and translation since the two have logical duality between previous and later text.
