Many psychological, social, cultural and historical mediators interfere in achieving the communicative effect, in addition to the linguistic mediator.

Since communication is a complex work on a set of references and backgrounds, it goes beyond the idea of being a purely linguistic phenomenon; for it is interwined with many contexts related to time, place and man.
