The autobiography and the novel may overlap, and the distinction between them becomes difficult.

However, the efforts presented in the critique fields, especially the theoretical ones, has reduced the difficulty by setting precise limits of the autobiography.

Philipe Le Jeune is one of the first contributors to the to the objective terms of the autobiography, which require an integration of the real author, the narrator, the teller and the main character.

According to him, the autobiography is characterized by direct statement of the author as a biography and includes real names.

Based on the perception, we ask the question as follows: is the work that is declared at its beginning as being a biography can be considered as one, or there must appear other indicators that confirm its genre? These titles or textual thresholds are symbolic and aesthetic functions that promote this genre.

This seems to be close to the text of the Algerian Ayach Yahiaoui “Laqbesh”, and we have confirmed this point by examining the texual shreholds in his literary piece that he classified as an autobiography.
