Contributions of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language in addressing the problem of the term The issue of the term in the Arab world is among the most important issues dealt with by academic research and studies from different perspectives,such as Arabization, theorizing and procedure.

The Supreme Council of the Arabic Language in Algeria has taken care of it; Since the time of its establishment in 1998,the Council continues to make all efforts to promote the Arabic language and always advance it forward in order to keep pace with the developments of globalization and accompany developments at the international and Arab levels, We should like to point out here that The Supreme Council of the Arabic Language has been holding regional, national and international meetings, seminars, and forums.

It also encouraged researchers and specialists in the field of translation, terminology and lexicography to submit serious research and studies, and all of this was in order to address the problematic of the term in the Arabic language.

Consistent with the foregoing, we decided that our entry in this important national meeting should be entitled: Contributions of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language in addressing the problem of the term
