The study aimed to find out the degrees of awareness of cognitive processes among students of educational sciences and guidance at the University of Batna ; The measure of awareness of cognitive processes was adopted by the researcher Abd al-Rahman Braik (2007), Which consists of 46 phrases (37 expressions with a positive direction), (09 with a negative direction), and it is followed in the punctuation of the five Likert scale The study sample consisted of 51 students who were deliberately chosen, The descriptive approach was used tostudy the sample scores on the scale, And the results of the study were as follows: - The students of the studied sample fall within the classification of the medium level of awareness of cognitive processes.

- There are no differences in awareness of cognitive processes attributable to the level variable.

- There are no statistically significant differences in awareness of cognitive processes due to the gender variable.
