Abstract EN

This study undertakes the task of uncovering the mechanisms of looking at the arguments of the Madieriah Maqamah, by Badi Al-Zaman Al-Hamzani, and the extent of its investment in constructing an imaginary narrative text, in which the effect on the recipient is guaranteed by the power of persuasive energy inherent in the origin of the language, which in building a wonderful and elaborate storytelling.

Al-Hamdhani employed all elements of the story in his maqam: from narration, dialogue, event, and drawing to the dimensions of the characters; In order to reach his desired goal.

Al-Hamdhani worked on building statements that fit with the structure of the event and the nature of the characters he created, which through speech actions, and employing links and argumented factors, which help him to accomplish a series of sayings and actions, which contribute to the development of the event and its steps towards knot and stalemate, reaching a breakthrough and a solution.

This study seeks to analyze textual structures in the structure of the maqamah, and focus on its role in the communication process, its relevance to the speaker, the place, and time frame for it.
