Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the effect of using flipped learning strategy in learning the science methods of teaching course on achievement and technology acceptance among General Diploma students at Benha faculty of education.

To achieve the aim of the study, the course was prepared and taught according to the procedures of flipped learning.

The study participants consisted of two groups: the first included (30) general diploma students at the Faculty of Education in Benha and served as the experimental group who studied the methods of teaching science course using flipped learning, and the second included (32) general diploma students at the Faculty of Education in Zagazig served as the control group who studied the same course using the regular method.

The instruments of the study (a multiple choice achievement test in methods teaching science course and the technology acceptance scale in the form of a 5-point Likert scale) were prepared and administered to the participants before and after teaching the course.

The results of the study revealed that the experimental group outperformed the control group participants in both achievement in the methods of teaching science course and acceptance of technology, which indicates the effectiveness of flipped learning in achieving the aim of the study.

In the light of these results, the study presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
