This study analyzed and criticized the play “The Trial of the Man who never Fought” by Mamdouh Adwan in terms of its content and artistic construction History’s drama is an innovative framework adopted by a number of writers as a sanctuary from which they promulgate the suffering of peoples from tyranny and the dictators’ forces domination.

By bringing history cladded in reality attire enables author to be free from intellectual and political restrictions that are imposed on him The most important of those writers who took history of his idea, and literature of its artistic construction is Mam douh , who considered the fall of Baghdad as an event for his play, the Trial of the Man who did not Fight due to its effect in destroying the foundation on humans’ civilization.

Also, because it resembles to a great extent the destructions and miseries of 1967.

The study concluded with the most important results- The play trial of the man who did not fight is considered to be a milestone in the history of the Arab political theater; to monitor the pain, and disasters that the Arab citizen are subjected to.

- Adwan in his play was able to leak the events of the present to the depth of the past; to walk the two together, making them a single fabric, its steps are the present, and the flesh of the past.

- Adwan was affected by Brecht in several theatrical aspects - The play trial of the man who did not fight is considered to be a milestone in the history of the Arab political theater; to monitor the pain, and disasters that the Arab citizen are subjected to.

- Adwan in his play was able to leak the events of the present to the depth of the past; to walk the two together, making them a single fabric, its steps are the present, and the flesh of the past - Adwan was affected by Brecht in several theatrical aspects
