Abstract EN

The current study aimed to reveal the differences in the use of self-organized learning strategies in the light of the Purdy model on a sample of Umm Al-Qura University students attributed to the type of pathway (scientific، administrative، medical) And level of academic achievement (high، medium، low) As well as the detection of differences in the use of self- organized learning strategies.

The study sample consisted of 204 students from the preparatory year within the three tracks (track scientific and medical administrative track and track)،The study used a measure(Purdie، 1989).، The study found several results: No statistically significant differences between the mean dimensions of the self-organized learning strategies scale according to the path variable (scientific ، administrative ، medical).

The study also found statistically significant differences between the dimensions of the dimensions of the scale according to the variable and the level of academic achievement (high، medium، low) for students with high achievement.
