Abstract EN

The curriculum of educational reform in Algeria has adopted a textual approach as a pedigree for the analysis of texts based on the principle of linking receipt and production.

the aim of the research was to highlight the role of the textual approach of enabling the learner to control the production of texts of all kinds by addressing different types of text in order to reflect their structural and linguistic characteristics in the oral and written expression process.

after going into the subject, the research came up with results, including : the pupil has the skills to observe, discuss, learn and then produce.

in addition to its ability to select and employ appropriate methods and tools in new settings, it is able to keep pace with the linguistic reality and the true use of language, as it learns language through the concrete linguistic reality of the text.
