Abstract EN

Algerian universities have tended to open distance education programs to keep pace with the process of technological development in the scientific and knowledge aspect, as the study aims to present a general framework by highlighting what electronic distance education is, and then highlighting the various capabilities provided by the Algerian state to activate the performance of the distance education project and review of Algeria's experience in this field and know the advantages and the positive and negative effects of distance learning in Algerian universities.

the study reached many results, the most important of which is the obligation to create an educational environment that is able to meet all the requirements of using distance education programs and to ensure the formation and support of faculty members in all Algerian universities and urge them to optimal use of e-learning and advanced programs in distance education, and to accompany professors and specialists by holding conferences and seminars to assess the experience of using distance education methods in the time of the corona * COVID 19 pandemic.
