Abstract EN

This research relates to studying the linguistic provisions the word: (but) in the Noble Quran.

The study came in an introduction, three main sections, and a conclusion.

The study began with the definition of but and its verdicts in the language and the sayings of the commentators.

Then It moved on to talk about the function of the restriction in (but) and the difference between it and other methods in it.

and concluded with an applied study of the method the function of the restriction in (but) and its graphical connotations.

The second: the rhetorical effect with restriction in the word (but) in terms of strengthening and confirming the meaning.

Through this presentation, Appeared to us many meanings and treasures that was hidden under this miraculous expression in the Holy Quran The study proved the importance of the Arabic language in interpreting and clarifying the meanings of the Noble Qur’an and its secrets.

He indicated that the context of the Qur’an and the Qur’an have an important role in these meanings and secrets.
