Electronic wallets such as (PayPal and Apple Pay) are one of the most important devises of electronic payment and are considered to be an equal substitute for bank debit and credit cards, paper checks and paper money but with extraordinary features in completing transactions in a flexible way, maximum speed and high security.

Thus, the electronic payment devises are adopted globally in the field of ecommerce to be used as method in its various transactions which includes sending and receiving all electronic financial payments.

This research concluded that the Saudi legal system did not differentiate between “electronic money” and “electronic wallets” despite the fundamental differences between them, unlike the USA legal system which distinguished each of them in terms of the features
