Abstract EN

The study discussed the hadiths of the legitimacy of selling with deposit and what the jurists' opinions in this matter.

The study concluded that there is no proven hadith that forbid or permit the selling with a deposit.

However, it was proved that Umar ibn Al-Khattāb and his son's Abdullah- May Allah be pleased with them both- permitted this kind of selling.

As a result, the selling with deposit is legitimate provided that it is timed for a period of time, and if it is without timing then it is not valid, and the sale is corrupt.

The study agrees with the opinion of Muhammad ibn Sirin- May God has mercy on him-, one of the narrations of Hanbalis, and the Fatwah of Islamic Fiqh academy.
