يدرس هذا البحث حياة الكابتن أورد تشارلز وينغيت الاسكتلندي المولد، البروتستانتي المذهب، و شغفه بالكتاب المقدس، و دوره في مواجهة الثورة 1939م، و تكليف القيادة البريطانية له بحماية خط النفط العراقي الواصل-الفلسطينية الكبرى ,1936 (Special Night Squads) إلى حيفا، من هجمات الثوار العرب، و إنشائه وحدات الليل الخاصة ،(Notrim) كما يتناول تدريبات هذه الوحدات التي شكلت من بريطانيين و صهاينة من قوات الخفراء و أبرز المهام التي قامت بها هذه الوحدات بقيادة وينغيت.
و يدرس هذا البحث المكاسب العسكرية التي حققتها الحركة الصهيونية من أورد وينغيت و تأسيسه و قيادته لوحدات الليل الخاصة.
Abstract EN
This research studies the life of the Scottish Protestant Captian Orde Charles Wingate, his love to the Bible, his role in confronting the Palestine Revolution 1936-1939 and his appointment by the British government to protect the Iraqi oil pipeline to Haifa from revolutionists attacks.
It also treats the formation of Special Night Squads and the training of groups from British and Zionist individuals- Notrim and his role in leading these groups.
The research also studies the Zionist movement Military benefits from forming the Night Squads.
