أثر طريقة الاستقصاء في التحصيل و تنمية الدافعية نحو التعلم في مادة التاريخ لدى طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط في العراق

Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the impact of the inquiry method on achievement and the development of motivation towards learning in the subject matter of history for second-graders middle school students in Iraq.

the quasi- experimental design was employed in this study for experimental and control group.

in order to achieving the goals of study, test & the defensive measure toward learning were used in the history course of intermediate students.

the study population consisted of students of the second intermediate class in Karkh –Iraqi in the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020, consisting of (62) students, divided to two study groups, & the random assignment of the experimental and control groups was made, so a division representing the experimental group and its number (32) students was taught using the inquiry method, and another group representing the control group and its number (30) students was taught using the ordenary method.

the results concluded that there is a statistical significant difference at (α = 0.05) in achievement based on inquiry method in the favor of experimental group, and there is a statistical significant difference at (α = 0.05) in developing motivation towards learning based on inquiry method in the favor of experimental group, and researcher recommended to get the benefits of this study results.
