Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the criteria for selecting a sports recreation specialist in sports clubs in the state of Kuwait.

the researcher used the descriptive approach, whereby this approach studies the research variables as they are among the sample members without the researcher having a role in controlling the variables subject to measurement.

the research community represented the current presidents and members of the boards of directors of the sports clubs-the executive directors and the current directors of sports activity in the sports clubs in the state of Kuwait.

the researcher chose the research sample by the deliberate stratified method.

the size of the basic sample reached (90) administrative leadership in sports clubs' boards, and the exploratory sample also includes (15) administrative leadership in sports clubs from outside the basic sample.

in light of the results obtained, processed, presented and discussed, and within the limits of the method used, the researcher was able to reach an answer to this question :“what are the criteria for selecting a sports recreation specialist in sports clubs in the state of Kuwait ? the first axis: administrative standards, number (10) phrases.

the second axis : personal criteria (10) phrases.

the third axis : behavioral standards (9) phrases.

fourth axis : professional standards (10) phrases.

the researcher recommended the necessity of applying the proposed criteria reached by the research (administrative, personal, behavioral and professional) in the processes of selecting a sports recreation specialist in sports clubs.
