Abstract EN

: Our study aims to shed light on a crucial historical stage in the history of Algeria, which is the revolution of 1 November 1954, by highlighting the contribution of Zone II (North Constantine) to the launching of the revolution and to clarify the most striking preparatory stages that preceded it, such as the division of the zone into several regions.

We will do this by ensuring that all the material and human resources are provided.

We have concluded that Zone II like other zones of the country, marked its presence on 1st November and that operations there varied from one side to the other.

However, in their entirety, they were aimed at the economy of the French enemy, and in general they were sabotage operations, but they were not at the level of force expected in relation to the operations of 1st November 1954
