This article deals with the stories of Marzak Batash, tagged "horses of the night and day", a semiotic treatment in the title case in which the western school has long spoken, and in particular the work of Gerard Genit, who worked to create new foundations crystallized in the process of using modern methods to deal with this type of text, after the decline of contextual methods, so we will use the methods of semiotic textualism.

we will therefore try to consider and reflect on the main title of the story with some of its subheadings, taking into account the method used for the semiotic approach, stressing that the title is the main key to the discovery of literary texts and on this basis the research dealt with the theoretical aspect of the toxicity of the title, and then applied this semiotic theory to the title of the story marked by "horses of night and day".
