This article attempts to highlight a linguistic phenomenon, which manifested itself in the formation of speech, which is shift.

moreover, to make a speech in a different way and with particular characteristics, the author and the translator adopt the method of the shift as creativity.

shift is a multi-type writing style that is used in many fields such as stylistic studies and translation studies.

therefore, the translator who deals with this phenomenon faces a difficult job due to the linguistic, stylistic, syntactic and semantic characteristics of each language and this surely makes the transmission of sentences, including the shifts, difficult.

we try to focus on the concept of change in both stylistic and translation studies, and how can the translator convey this shift from one language to another taking into account its specifics? thus, we concluded that translation and stylistic studies treated it deferentially.
