The present paper aims to detect translation strategies used to translate into Arabic the human values in the animation film “Shrek 2”.
This animation film is a specific product, of a particular textual typology, addressed to a particular receptor who is the Arabic-speaking child, whose mother tongue is different from the source language.
Through the subtitling as a kind of audiovisual translation, it is important to face some constraints, especially cultural ones, when values are transferred, especially in this era of powerful and overwhelmed screens, becoming the new friend of the child, after the book.

Le présent article a pour objectif de déceler les stratégies utilisées pour traduire les valeurs humaines vers l'arabe dans le film d'animation " Shrek 2 ".
Ce film d'animation est un produit particulier, d'une typologie textuelle à part, destiné à un récepteur particulier qui est l'enfant arabophone, dont la langue maternelle diffère de celle du produit original.
A travers le sous-titrage comme type de traduction audiovisuelle, il est important de bien contourner certaines contraintes et enjeux, notamment d'ordre culturel, lors du transfert des valeurs, d'autant plus dans cette époque du pouvoir et d'envahissement de l'écran, devenu le nouvel ami de l'enfant après le livre.
