Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to know the effect of the systemic approach in teaching mathematics on the acquisition of mathematical concepts and the retention of their learning among sixth-grade students, where the semi-experimental approach was used, as the research sample consisted of (56) students divided into two groups : an experimental group of (28) students and a control group of (28) students, and both groups from the twentieth primary school in Abha, where the experimental group was studied using the systemic approach, and the control group in the usual way.

the research reached several results, the most important of which are : the presence of statistically significant differences in the post application of the tests of mathematical concepts and the preservation of his immediate and postponed learning to test mathematical concepts for the benefit of the experimental group.

and the existence of a significant effect of using the systemic approach in teaching mathematics on the acquisition of mathematical concepts and retention of their learning among sixth grade students.
