Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the degree of development of creative thinking skills for secondary education students in light of the application of the problem-solving strategy in mathematics according to the assessments of mathematics teachers.

To collect data, “self-assessment checklists” were used, which included creative thinking skills (flexibility - fluency - originality), which were applied to A sample of 25 male and female professors in some high schools of setif.

, To treat the data, the descriptive analytical approach and statistical methods represented in the "weighted mean and percentile weight" were use.

The study reached the conclusion that: The problem-solving strategy contributes to a moderate degree in developing creative thinking skills in mathematics for secondary education students in State of Setif, according to the estimates of professors Maths.
