This research paper aims to shed light on one of the four languageSkills which is listening and highlighting the role of listening in the acquisition and development of language skills for the language learner because listening is the most important language arts and an important means in the process of language learning, especially since learningthe language through skills is one of I deal ways to get positive resultsknowing the language is one thing and practicing skills is another.

Despitethe importance of the listening skill, it did not receive sufficient attention in the curricula of teaching Arabic in schools which was reflected negatively on the level of learners in the language.
