Abstract EN

Taking into consideration the role of intellectual capital in the hotel industry, the current study aims to identify the impact of intellectual capital on business performance.

Data collected from 77 hotel managers in five-star hotels in Egypt through a structured questionnaire and the hypotheses were analyzed through SPSS software.

Results indicated that, intellectual capital including three components namely; human capital, relational capital and structural capital has a strong and positive influence on business performance.

Indeed, such findings contribute in providing implications for both hotels' managers and the board members of directors on the part of enhancing the implementation of intellectual capital and reaching the desired business performance.
