English Abstract
The aim of the research is to study the effect of applying the total quality management standards with its three criteria (continuous improvement, communication and taking decision based on facts) on cost, time and quality on the bus rapid transit project in the Greater Amman Municipality.
Many research found out the importance of studying the impact of total quality on project risk management and the impact of risk management, this prompted the researcher to study the impact of risk management on total quality management with its four criteria (physical or human risk, ecological and natural risk, risks related to the implementation phase and the financial risk).
A questioner was distributed to the engineers who work in the (BRT) its project after it was presented to academic arbitrators, and the researcher analyzed it by SPSS.
The results showed that there is an impact of total quality standards on time, quality and cost.
The most factor affecting time is decision-making based on facts, and the most factor affecting cost is communication, and the most influential factor on quality is continuous improvement.
And the results showed an impact of risk management on project elements except of risk related to ecological and natural factors, and the criterion of risk related to implementation phase had no effect on time and cost, and it was found that there was a relationship between the application of total quality management on risk management.
The validity test showed that the result at the same line with the reality of the facts and engineers .
