English Abstract

Aim of study: clarify The Impact of Using Frayer Model on Developing Scientific Concepts and Reflective Thinking Skills in Science and Life Subject for Fourth Grade Male Students.

Study Tool:( Scientific Concepts test, Reflective Thinking Skills test, Teacher guide based on Frayer model).

Study Sample: The study sample consist of )63(students )31(students as experimental group and )32(as control group from Fourth Grade Male Students in Almoetasem Belaah basic school A for boys.

Research Methodology: Experimental approach.

The findings of the study: 1.

There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α=0.01) in the mean scores of the male students in the experimental group and control group in post-test, Scientific Concepts.

Differences were in favor of the experimental group 2.

There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α=0.01) in the mean scores of the female students in the experimental group and control group in post-test of Reflective Thinking.

Differences were in favor of the experimental group.

Study Recommendations: 1.

It is important to apply the Frayer model as a teaching model in science and life subject and in all educational stages as an effective model that contributes to the development of scientific concepts and reflective thinking skills.
