Abstract EN

In this paper, the classical and Bayesian estimation of the parameters of generalized power Weibull distribution based on record values are discussed.

Lindley approximation is used to obtain explicit forms of Bayes estimators.

Also, the classical and Bayesian predictions of the future record values from generalized power Weibull distribution are discussed.

A real dataset and the simulation study are presented for illustration purposes.
