Abstract EN

This study aimed to uncover the effect of using cooperative learning on developing technical concepts among elementary school students.

To achieve this goal, the study applied to a sample of (40) pupils from the fifth grade of elementary school divided into two groups, , the first experimental group of (20) was studied.

A male and female student using the cooperative learning strategy.

The second control group of (20) male and female students was studied in the usual way, and a cognitive achievement test was prepared consisting of (20) test items of the type of multiple choice and a skill test in design and decoration.

Its validity and consistency were found and applied to the twogroups of research.

The results: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students who study the art education subject (technical concepts) with the strategy (cooperative learning) and the scores of the control group students who study the same subject in the usual way in the cognitive and skill achievement test.

The study concluded with a number of related recommendations and proposals.
