Abstract EN

This paper is an attempt to highlight the important issue of how to transliterate Arabic names in English.

The paper begins with the causes of mistransliteration of Arabic names since the era of the western colonization of Arab and Islamic Countries, a thing which led to the existence of so many wrong ways of transliteration as a result of the absence of Academic attention to the problem.

Then the paper shows the right ways of transliteration of Arabic letters and names, with providing some examples from Arabic names, and translate Latin figures into Arabic.

Finally, the paper discusses some results and recommendations such as the importance of paying attention to the issue in Secondary Schools and Universities.
