The study aimed to identify the relationship between cognitive conflict and psychological resilience among a sample of university students, and to reveal the differences in the level of cognitive conflict and psychological resilience.
The sample size is (250) students divided into (109) male and (141) female students from the College of Science and Studies Humanity in Thadig at the University of Shaqra, used the descriptive correlative approach, and applied two scales of cognitive conflict and psychological resilience (prepared by the researcher), and the researcher concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students on the cognitive conflict scale in favor of female students, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of male and female students On the psychological resilience scale in favor of the students, and there is a negative, statistically significant inverse relationship between cognitive conflict and psychological resilience.
Recommendations: Activating programs to raise the level of psychological resilience and interest in studying the relationship between cognitive conflict and psychological resilience among students of other segments of society.
