Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the nature of the occupational performance of secondary school female teachers, as well as shedding light on the causes and sources of their job stresses, Also, the impact of job stress on their occupational performance, In addition to trying to make proposals to alleviate the job stresses they are exposed to.

The study relied on the descriptive analytical method, and the study community was determined in all public secondary school female teachers in Aga center, Dakahlia Governorate, and complete census was used to choose the study sample, and it also used the questionnaire tool, which was applied to a sample of (172) female teacher from the public secondary schools in the Aga educational administration of Dakahlia Governorate.

The study has revealed some findings the most important of which is that the most important causes of job stresses for secondary school female teachers are the work environment, low income, classes crowded, ambiguity and conflict of the role.

The study also revealed the negative impact of job stresses on their occupational performance which was represented in the decline in its level and frequent ence, and non-compliance with official working hours, exhaustion, fatigue and physical pain.

The study offers a set of recommendations to alleviate the job stresses that affects their occupational performance.
