This study aims to highlight the extent of children’s inclinations to e-reading and their practice of it, and to know the point of view of their parents in that, as it is one of the modern trends imposed on us by the age of technology, where many researchers and educators turn to it in order to satisfy their cognitive needs, so we conducted a field study on a sample of parents who encourage their children on reading, the study reached many results, the most important of which is that most children prefer to use electronic devices for reading and reading.

as for parents, their opinions differed between percentage of those who support the idea, as they see electronic reading as a motivator for their children to stick to the habit of reading, and a percentage of those who oppose it because of the dangers of using electronic devices.
