Orientalism may seem as a recent phenomenon but in fact its origins date back to the old conflict between the East and the West.

Translation of the noble Qur'an's meanings into different worldwide languages is the most important deeds of orientalism.

Orientalists were interested in translating the meanings of the noble Qur'an and its teachings long ago.

The researchers highlight in this study the concept of orientalism, orientalist's views on Qur'an and their translation of Islamic legacy, particularly, the translation of the nobe Qur'an meanings, as well as, the various types of Qur'an translation.
