we aim through this study to diagnose the nature of the relationship between the trend towards a knowledge society and the need to adopt the concept of total quality in higher education as one of the outcomes of the knowledge society.

By diving into the theoretical and field literature on both the knowledge society and the total quality system based on the descriptive analytical approach, we concluded that it is inevitable to adopt the concept of total quality in higher education institutions in the Arab countries, if we want the outputs of higher education to be consistent with the requirements of the knowledge explosion and building The desired knowledge society.
