Abstract EN

The research aimed to measure the attitudes of biology teachers towards the use of virtual and augmented reality in teaching, and to reveal the impact of the variables (scientific qualification- number of years of experience- training courses in virtual and augmented reality) on teachers' attitudes, and to identify the obstacles to the use of virtual and augmented reality in teaching biology from their point of view.

the research used the descriptive analytical method, and the sample consisted of (35) biology teachers in Jazan city, Saudi Arabia.

a questionnaire was prepared to measure teachers' attitudes, and to identify the obstacles that prevent the use of virtual and augmented reality in teaching biology.

there are statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members due to the scientific qualification, the number of years of experience, and the training courses, and that the degree of obstacles to the use of virtual and augmented reality in teaching biology from the point of view of its teachers was high, and the most important of these obstacles are “weak secondary school infrastructure, and overcrowding classes by students.
