Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the impact of the application of total quality management on the performance of public service employees in the ministry of public works and roads, and to determine the impact of the dimensions of total quality (i.e.

commitment and support of senior management, focus on the public, focus on meeting the needs of employees, focus on continuous improvement of operations, focus on administrative needs) on the performance of employees.

the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the questionnaire for data collection.

the comprehensive inventory was used for selecting the study sampling which consisted of 100 items, and 93 questionnaires were returned for statistical analysis.

the study revealed that the level of the application of total quality management in the ministry of public works was high, and the level of performance of employees was relatively high.

the results also showed a statistically significant effect of applying total quality on the performance of public service employees in the ministry of public works and roads.

the study recommends the implementation of total quality management in all its dimensions due to its impact on improving the performance of employees.
