The four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) are the most important skills and arts through which the learner enters the field of acquisition and learning in the right way.

teaching the Arabic language to a child, especially in the primary stage, is considered the most important step for him in the pursuit of knowledge and knowledge.

likewise, the teacher must choose the most appropriate method for teaching Arabic to his students in terms of their tendencies and number to achieve the desired goals.

among these methods are “educational games” as they are among the best means that combine entertainment, fun and learning, and they have a great role in encouraging children to learn, especially in the elementary stage.

it also has a profound impact on the development of language skills, so we had through this study to closely identify the impact of the games method in developing these skills through a descriptive and analytical study of the activity book in the Arabic language for the second year of primary school.
