this article seeks to trace the process of translating the text of KalilawaDimna from Arabic into Hebrew, by shedding light on the mechanisms used when translating this text into Hebrew, by studying the translation of “Yaakov Ben Eliezer” who employed the mechanism of “domesticating translation” to Judaize Kalila and Dimna and bring it closer.
