Abstract EN

Study title: Evaluating the sociology curriculum for the first intermediate grade in light of comprehensive quality standards from the viewpoint of subject teachers and supervisors in the Holy Karbala Governorate.

Study objective: The present study aimed to evaluate the sociology curriculum for the first intermediate grade in light of comprehensive quality standards.

Study methodology: The descriptive approach was used, as it is consistent with the objectives of the study.

Study population and sample: the study sample consists of teachers of social studies for the first intermediate grade for the academic year (2019-2020), where (45) teachers and supervisors were selected in the stratified random sample method and the questionnaire was applied to them.

Study tool: The researcher prepared the study tool after reviewing a group of studies and literature, where he prepared a questionnaire consisting of (50) paragraphs divided into (5) fields, and the researcher presented it to a group of specialists to verify its validity and reliability Results of the study: It was found through the results of the study that comprehensive quality standards have been achieved in most areas of the curriculum, to varying degrees.

Recommendations: 1- Forming a committee of authors in all disciplines when writing the textbook.

2- Working on setting up qualifying courses for male and female teachers in modern teaching methods.

3- Keeping up with male and female teachers of modern teaching trends.
